📅 Updated May 7, 2026 ⏱ 8 min read 🏷 Classes, Rankings, Tier List

Farever launches with 4 distinct classes, each with unique resource mechanics and playstyles. This tier list ranks them for solo play, co-op, DPS output, survivability, and overall strength in the current Early Access meta.

Class Ranking Overview

Tier Class Why
S Warrior 🛡️ Best all-around. Survivability + damage + beginner-friendly
S Rogue 🗡️ Highest DPS via poison stacking and combo bursts
A Mage 🔮 Excellent ranged AoE, farming speed, resource timing rewarded
A Cleric Best support/healing, invaluable in groups, slower solo

1. Warrior (S-Tier) 🛡️

Resource: Rage (built via basic attacks, spent on Weapon Skills)

The Warrior is the safest starting class and scales beautifully into the endgame. Its Rage mechanic is intuitive — attack to build Rage, spend it on powerful skills — making it accessible for beginners while offering depth for veterans.

Key Skills

  • Raging Smash — 150% physical damage with knockback, costs 10 Rage
  • Charge — Dash forward and stun the target
  • Ignore Pain — 40% damage reduction for 12 seconds

Top Talents

  • Hemorrhage — Bleed stacking on crits
  • Bloodletting — Bleed ticks generate Rage
  • Bloodfeast — Heal when you damage a bleeding enemy
  • Second Wind — Survive fatal damage once per cooldown
Verdict: S-Tier. Warrior has no significant weaknesses. Great survivability, strong damage, and forgiving mechanics make it the top pick for new and experienced players alike.

2. Rogue (S-Tier) 🗡️

Resource: Combo Points (generated by varied attack rotations)

The Rogue is the highest DPS class in the game, but requires more active engagement. Its Combo Point system rewards varied attack patterns — use different skills in sequence to build points, then spend them on devastating Finishers.

Key Skills

  • Finisher — 100% base damage + 45% per Combo Point, dashes forward
  • Shadow Step — Teleport behind target + 2s stun
  • Smoke Bomb — 8s cloud where allies dodge all physical attacks

Top Talents (Poison Build)

  • Lethal Poison — Basic attacks apply poison stacks
  • Envenom — Combo attacks always apply poison, can spread it
  • Leeching Poison — Poison damage heals you
  • Cheat Death — Survive fatal damage with damage reduction
Verdict: S-Tier. Highest theoretical DPS in the game. Poison stacking + Combo Points creates a rewarding high-skill-ceiling playstyle.

3. Mage (A-Tier) 🔮

Resource: Spark (consumed by skills, regenerated via Spark Beam)

The Mage brings powerful ranged magic and area damage. Its Spark mechanic requires careful resource management — keep Spark above the "Flow" threshold to activate Conduits.

Key Skills

  • Spark Beam — Channels 200% magic damage over 2s, restores Spark
  • Blink — Short-range teleport
  • Mystic Empowerment — +20% party magic mastery for 15s

Best Weapons

  • Apprentice's Grimoire — Best starter (safe ranged, strong burn)
  • Radiance Fire Staff — Best DPS (AoE explosion chains)
  • Ghost Clams of the Low Tide — Best survivability (healing + totems)
Verdict: A-Tier. Excellent AoE and ranged combat, but Spark management has a learning curve. Squishy when caught out of position.

4. Cleric (A-Tier) ✨

Resource: Rosary / Prayers (accumulate and release via Judgement)

The Cleric is the dedicated support class, focused on healing, shielding, and party buffs. Prayers are the core mechanic — prepare multiple prayers, then release them with Judgement.

Key Skills

  • Judgement — Nova that activates all ready Prayers
  • Prayer: Life — Heals 150% Health
  • Prayer: Virtue — Grants a shield to target ally
  • Faithful Winds — 70% party movement speed for 3s
  • Radiant Verdict — 120% magic damage + 3s stun
Verdict: A-Tier. Indispensable in groups, slower solo. If you mostly play with friends, Cleric is incredibly valuable.
